Item default values

Overview

Item default values can be used to:

  1. Set values for board columns that are not displayed on the form

  2. Set the board group the response should be saved to

Currently, Easyform supports default values for board group, status, dropdown and Connect Boards columns. We are continuously adding support for more column types.

You can use this feature to:

  1. Save a form submission into a specific group (for example, save it into a New leads board group)

  2. Set a specific initial status for the submitted response (for example, set a Status column to To contact)

  3. If you added multiple forms to a board, record the form the submission came from using a dropdown column (for example, set a Form dropdown column to English form)

  4. Create a request form for a pre-selected client (for example, set a Clients Connect Boards column to a specific client).
